January in the community garden

We did have a good day of gardening before this latest lockdown! As volunteers we'd technically be allowed to continue working in a socially distanced way with limited numbers. However, we decided to suspend all working parties until lockdown is lifted. There's no rush with the garden, and no need to take unnecessary risks. We're only sorry that the garden isn't yet safe enough to leave open for you all to enjoy as a space for exercise.

One day we will! Until then, here are some pictures from the first week of January. As you might be able to see: we emptive those old compost bins which exposed the fence and cherry tree, and weeded and mulched around some of the fruit.
